Overall this is a good book but the layout is bad. The information in the book is there but it takes too long to jump around and find it.I would look for another guide if I went to Disney in the future.

For a better guidebook, I'd recommend "The Unofficial Guide". Get a different guidebook for info on Universal and Sea World and for something other than a commercial for the Disney parks. First off, let's say that the book is better than going in blind as you can identify attractions you'd like to see and have an idea about the parks. There are some pictures here that you wouldn't find in the other guidebooks and it is for those pictures that I value this guidebook most. Other books will also give you info on the many non Disney hotels in the area. That being said, there is very little here in the way of objective unbiased information. Almost everything is praised and although Disney World is a great place, not all is equally desirable or affordable.
No one can top its accuracy. The Birnbaum guide is still the best bood on Disneyworld on the market.
Planning is the key to navigating a vacation with the kids. If you already have one from recent years passed, I would not bother getting a new one. But very helpful to first-timers to get an idea of what you want to accomplish while you are there.
